About

Welcome to 4loveoflearning!

Over the years I’ve taught in a few different environments-classrooms, Sunday school, and homeschool groups. However, my favorite experience of all has been homeschooling my own daughter who is now in college.

One thing I know for sure after all these years is that children learn differently, and there’s no one size fits all approach to education. To be effective we need to meet students where they are and curate our methods and materials accordingly. This requires creativity, flexibility, and trial and error; but it’s so worth it when that light bulb comes on!

I have benefited so much from my teacher friends and fellow homeschooling parents over the years!Whether you’re a new teacher, a veteran teacher, a veteran homeschooler, or a parent considering beginning homeschooling, it’s so important to have a network of people and resources to draw from. I started this blog to share thoughts, tips, activities, and lesson plans that have been helpful to me, and I hope they prove useful to you as well!

I would love to hear from you! Please leave a comment and let me know what resources or advice would be helpful to you.
